Have you ever fallen into the trap of comparing yourself with others on social media?

Scrolling through Facebook and insta and looking at everyone’s smiling happy faces, thinking that they must have the best life, and look at their body, their house and their partner and everyone’s happy!

Yep me too! I get it, I’ve been there as well and it feels terrible!

For me, it’s a clear indicator that I’m living from my ego survival mind in that moment and not from my heart centre. 

It’s the voice of fear that echoes in the background of our lives, that if you give it the power it can become overwhelming loud. It wants to tell us that we are not enough and depending on the day and where we are currently at with our self-love and with our past story of how we truly feel about ourselves and our beliefs and emotions, it can sometimes trigger, an even bigger downward spiral. 

Being able to pull ourselves up at that moment, to stop the inner critic in her tracks to no longer feel like an imposter or fraud in our life, is paramount to self-love, happiness and to vibrant health, wellbeing and long term vitality!

It is on days where the inner critic is loudest that you will notice, your physical energy is at its worst. 

Do you know that out of all the statistics with health and wellbeing, that it generally takes 3 things to create illness in the body? 


  1. Too much congestion in the body from toxins, foods we eat, not enough water, sluggish digestion, sluggish lymphatic system etc. 


  1. Long Term low emotional state, chronic stress, or major trauma that has been repressed.


  1. Pre-disposition to an illness or disease through our genes, (remembering these genes can only be triggered by our emotional state – See Bruce Lipton Biology of Belief for further references) or other risk factors such as radiation from x-rays etc. 

Whilst this may be scary to read, it’s a REALLY important factor to recognise, that 95% of your health, really is up to you!

You are in control of how many toxins you are eating/consuming through the daily food you choose. You are in control of how much water you drink.

You are in control of supporting your digestive and lymphatic systems to help your body rid itself of toxins and to be more functional.

You are also in control of how much or how little you choose to move your body.

You are in control of your own emotional state, how you choose to respond or feel by what you make things mean in your life and by choosing to heal your emotional traumas and heal your own personal narrative to an empowering one.

You are in control of how you choose to live your life, which takes you closer to vibrant health and wellbeing through many small and seemingly inconsequential choices, that all compound together to bring an exponential result over the long term. 

So why don’t we always do, what we say we want to do? 

The biggest freedom we have as human beings is the ability to choose and reinforce our beliefs about ourselves, about our life, about people, about money, about everything. 

This is the most FREEING gift that you can ever give yourself, because your beliefs will continue to be reflected back to you, through how you are currently living.
