Do you tend to take things personally?

This can be a huge barrier in communication with our loved ones, not to mention our work colleagues, friends and family.

When we take things personally we can feel hypersensitive to what others are expressing and often can take it, to mean something about ourself.

For example, “it’s all my fault”, “it doesn’t matter what I do, it’s never good enough”, “It’s all my responsibility”, “they always blame me.”
