More than enough…..
Sometimes in the rushing around and the stress of day-to-day things, or even when things start to change and seem uncertain in the world, it can be so easy to drop into fear and scarcity about the future.
Especially if we’ve been living in the fight/flight/freeze and fawn states for a while.
Our ego/survival mind can get pretty loud….
What if just for this moment you paused for a sec,
What if just at this moment, you noticed you had enough,
Right now, in this present moment.
Enough clothes to wear today,
Enough money right in this second,
Enough of everything you need, right at this moment,
Noticing that you are ok.
Noticing that even though our mind might want to rush ahead, even to the next minute or day, or month and predict a fearful future, or to some worry or anxiety, that you haven’t got enough time, money, or energy……..
But right now in this very second,
If you notice,
You already have enough….
I played with this concept myself today, and it felt delicious.
My body instantly felt calmer,
My nervous system instantly relaxed,
I felt more joy, peace, and so much gratitude immediately.
When we’ve been through burnout, or have experienced past traumas, our nervous system can be so conditioned to be in the stress response and it’s so easy for the mind to wander to fears, concerns, or feelings of not having enough or being enough, or doing enough.…
This is because the ego/survival mind is fear-based. It’s designed to protect you and keep you safe, so it’s constantly judging the world and trying to predict what could go wrong, or what could hurt you.
The only problem is, it’s not very helpful in experiencing high-level emotional states, such as joy, gratitude, abundance, happiness, and attracting what we TRULY desire in life.
Becoming a master of our emotions, our thoughts, and our old hardwired beliefs that are no longer serving us is the pathway to changing our current reality long term.
If you know your mind is much more inclined to focus on fearful and worrying things,
